Exotic Mallets

Hardwood and leather mallets are important to creating the perfect interface between you and your instruments. Each handle is hand crafted and carved from exotic Padauk wood. The tips are hand wound rubber covered tightly with pigskin leather. The mallets are very responsive and allow for an accurate bridge between your creativity and the instrument. They are great for any of the larger drums or other percussive instruments and drums. Remember, the tongue drums are very responsive to even light tapping, these mallets work best when lightly touching the keys.

Includes one pair of high-quality Ball Mallets.

Made of American made polymer balls attached to 1/4" Oak dowels.

Also includes 5 pairs of Dowel Mallets, tipped with pure latex. This allows beautiful wood to wood tone,

protecting the surface of the instrument while you play.

The Dowel Mallets start out at 3/16" and go up in size all the way to 1/2", from very thin to very wide.

The larger dowel mallets are made of Poplar wood, a very light weight wood.

Light enough to play for extended periods of time without getting fatigued.

Each sized dowel creates an entirely different sound.

Also great for other drums and percussive instruments.
